While James Grippando wrote The Pardon in 1995, it took me until 2005 t0 discover Jack. Once I did I quickly read Book #2 in the series.
Then over the nextv13 years I only read I only read 1 more book in the series. Then in 2018 I rediscovered the series when I read A Death in Live Oak. I guess it took a novel partially set at the University of Florida to bring me back into the fold.
Anyway since then I haven’t missed a book. Over the next seven years I read six more books in the series.
One of those six books was the book Last Call, which I read in 2022! Needless to say all have been great reads.
