By the time I started reading numerous mystery series books in 1987, Bill Pronzini was already on book #15 of the Nameless Detective series. I actually didn’t read my first Nameless Detective book until 1990!
But then I was off and running, I read twelve “Nameless Detective” novels between 1900 and 2001.ending with Crazybone. Crazybone was book #26 in the series.
Since then the prolific Pronzini has written an additional 14 “Nameless Detective” novels leaving the series with a total of 40 books. I have read three of those novels. The most recent being Savages Book #31n i the series.
