I first discovered the works of Michael Koryta in 2008 when I read Sorrow’s Anthem the second book in his terrific Lincoln Perry series. Through the years I have read all but Tonight, We say Goodbye book 1 in the series, or did I read it I’m not sure.
After 2009, Michael ended the Lincoln Perry series and started writing standalone novels. Since reading The Prophet in 2012, I’ve read all his standalone books and Rise the Dark book to in his Mark Novak series. (Note to self read book #1 it’s on your bookshelves along with two other standalones!)!)

Evidently, I wasn’t ready for the supernatural side of Michael Koryta. Which is now Scott Carson Koryta’s supernatural pen name whose works I have read and loved! Maybe it’s time to revisit So Cold the River!

Michael’s novels have won or been nominated for prizes and awards such as the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the Edgar Award, the Shamus Award, the Barry Award, the Quill Award, and the International Thriller Writers Awards
His novel Tonight I Said Goodbye won the St. Martin’s Press/Private Eye Writers of America Best First Novel prize
